What your role lets you see and do across the organization.

What you can do in BadgeOut depends on your role in the organization. Roles keep everyday tasks simple for members while giving administrators the controls they need.

Common roles

  • Members focus on their own time: logging hours, submitting timesheets, and requesting time off.
  • Reviewers / managers additionally see and act on the timesheets of the people they oversee.
  • Administrators manage the organization itself — members, charge codes, policies, and settings — from the management area.

If you can't access something

If a page or action isn't available to you, it's usually because your role doesn't include it. An administrator can adjust your role or grant the access you need.
